Wheelchairs and Accessories:

• Manual Wheelchairs
  Come in two standard sizes, 16" and 18" wide. Any seat width <16" or >18" is considered custom. All pediatric chairs are considered custom. Manual chairs fall into three categories:
  Standard...fold up
  Lightweight...fold up
  Ultra-Light...typically rigid frame chairs. Their back
  usually folds down onto the seat. However, they do not
  typically fold up like a standard or lightweight chair.
  
• Transport Power Wheelchairs
  Typically made in front wheel drive, mid-wheel drive or rear wheel drive models. Translated, that means the drive motors are mounted to the front, mid or rear wheels
  
• Scooters
  Available in three & four wheeled models. Most feature a swivel seat and a basket. They offer either an on or off-board charger. Three-wheeled scooters can typically be used inside or out. However, four-wheeled scooters are not typically designed for indoor use. The reason is…they take too large of a turn to be practical in most apartments or homes.
  
• Wheelchair Cushions
  
• Walkers
  Most walkers fold making them much easier to store either in a vehicle or at home. Walkers are typically a single release or dual release. Either are available with casters.
  Accessories include brakes, glides, baskets and pouches.
  Walkers are also available with seats. Seated walkers usually have a basket and dual locking brakes.
